Whenever I have a bad day, whenever I feel blue, I will look around and try to find some little thing to make me feel better again.

It can be anything. Something that brings me a smile, something beautiful, something unexpected. There is always something there to show me life is worth living.

Imagine my surprise when a few days ago I found a flowering plant in the autumn fields. The light was brilliant and made its fragile pale colours stand out in the last sunrays of that magnificent afternoon. I had reasons to feel blue that day but seeing this little plant flower this late in the season in all its splendour lifted all of my gloom. Seeing that even in the grey season there was a plant ready to feed an insect to allow it to survive another cold day made me forget my own predicament. It was a little moment of beauty. On of the little things that make me want to go on and enjoy life!

So look around with an open mind and try to make the maximum of the little wonders around you…
